Exhibition “Shilun Jiang. Master’s Silk Road”

An exposition of works dedicated to the memory of the artist Shilun Jiang, Honorary Professor of the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, who passed away at the age of 93 and lived in Russia for more than 60 years. 

Shilun Jiang is a classic of Chinese painting, whose works are kept in the collections of the Hermitage, the Louvre, the State Museum of Oriental Art, as well as private collections around the world. Subtle, deep works of the master reflect the beauty and harmony of nature. There is a lot of philosophy and poetry in the pictures.

The artist is attentive to every detail, while achieving incredible lightness and generalization. The exhibition was held on the initiative and support of a great friend of the artist – Andrey Loginov. A writer, poet, public figure and specialist in the East, he carefully collected works from private collections, personal belongings of Shilun. 

The Fund has released a colorful exhibition catalog in Russian, Chinese and English.
