The Art Support Fund “Kraski Zhizni”, together with the Center for Infectious Diseases and AIDS Prevention and Control Studies, held a “Freddie Mercury-sketch” competition.
The synthesis of fine art and public spaces helped to draw attention to the problem of the spread of infectious diseases and support for people with a positive HIV status.
The winner of the Competition and the owner of a grant for 150,000 rubles, Anastasia Matveeva, is a professional artist with extensive experience in implementing wall, furniture and interior decorating projects. The sketches proposed by Anastasia decorated the children’s department of the St. Petersburg AIDS Center.
