On October 29 at 4:30 PM, the A. A. Bryantsev Youth Theater will host the opening of the exhibition “Life of my Yard,” which features works by students from the “Kraski Zhizni” art gallery from October 28 to November 11.
This exhibition-contest not only allows children to explore their imaginations, create their own unique backyard, and enjoy gatherings with friends, playing on a slide, or in a hunting scene. They also began searching for the famous children’s book “Victor Deniskin’s Stories” by Dragunsky.
At the exhibition, young artists from the “Kraski Zhizni” art gallery will present paintings and graphic works that transport viewers back to a carefree childhood full of adventure and joy.
A busy week organized with the assistance of the “Kraski Zhizni” Arts Support Fund for St. Petersburg artists representing our art gallery has come to an end. During these days, they were able to create numerous sketches and full-fledged paintings reflecting the character of the places and natural features of the Russian North.
The “Golden Autumn” plein air which provided an unforgettable immersion into creativity and fostered bonds between the participants of the “Bereg Nadezhdy” Creative Assembly, will be long remembered. On Friday, a gift exchange took place between the “Foundation for the Preservation and Development of the Solovetsky Archipelago” and “Visit Solovki.”
A long-awaited event was the ceremonial vernissage, where the results of the “Golden Autumn” plein air were presented. The artists displayed paintings that resonated strongly with both the organizers and the audience.
At the “Kraski Zhizni” art gallery, we will be able to see works created by artists on Solovki, as part of the upcoming exhibition “Plein Air 2025: Poetry of Simple Motifs.”

A charity project with a creative program for mobilized families, with both lectures and art classes, is an extremely necessary and important initiative that sets many tasks and goals, which were fully realized over the course of 1.5 months. Such a project not only created conditions for parents and children for joint cultural and educational activities, but also contributed to the development of their creative potential.
In the modern world, where more and more attention is paid to technological progress, it is important not to forget about the development of creative thinking and imagination. That is why one of the main goals of the project was to foster love to creativity and art in children. Various activities and workshops allow them to learn new skills and unleash their artistic potential. For this purpose, the gallery’s teachers developed a program where each lesson introduced participants to new material and how to transform it into a painting.
Such activities helped families expand their cultural horizons, as well as acquire theoretical and practical skills. Thanks to this, parents were able to share their knowledge and experience with their children, and the children opened up to adults an extraordinary view of the world around them and an unconventional presentation of ideas. Such a union created a real family atmosphere of mutual understanding and support, which is so necessary for all project participants. Each family gained valuable experience and created a gallery of unique works.
An important part of the project for the families is the organization of a charity event aimed at transferring the projects created within the program to soldiers. The purpose of such an event is to achieve psychological support and motivation for soldiers who are in military service. Projects created together with families can become not only a symbol of support, but also a means of expressing gratitude and recognition.

As part of the project, the art gallery “Kraski Zhizni” provides participants with a cultural and entertainment program, which includes lectures and interactive classes and lessons in fine art. Our classes are attended by children of preschool and school age, together with their parents they take an active part in quizzes and creative master classes. We study various drawing techniques with art materials – watercolor, gouache, art crayons, markers, acrylic paints. Children and adults enjoy working together with gratitude and a desire to visit the gallery again. During the project, we learned new things, shared impressions and, most importantly, spent time together. We traveled to Ancient Greece, learned how many forms landscapes can have and deepened our knowledge of art history, tried ourselves in many drawing techniques and even created our own unique stained glass plate!
Farewell always adds a sad note, so we invited Anna Rubtsova, who, with her immense energy, is able to infect every soul with a love of creativity. She gave children and their parents a tour, telling fascinating stories about her paintings, each of which is connected with her home and family. It is necessary to talk with the youngest about preserving traditions; Anna is able to find the right words so that everyone hears and remembers what is really important.
